Plastic Profile Extrusion
A plastic profile extrusion is a manufacturing process used to create long shapes or profiles made from plastic materials. In this process, plastic is melted and forced through a mold (called a die) to form continuous shapes of a specific cross-sectional profile. These shapes can be cut to desired lengths after they exit the extrusion die. The profiles can be used for a variety of applications, such as in construction (window frames, door seals), automotive parts, and consumer goods.
